Letter From Bill Douwes

Late last week I received the following letter from Bill Douwes. As it is intended for all of us, I am reprinting it in its entirety:
In the interest of not spreading Douwes' contact information with the world, I will circulate an email with his address and phone number (and the text of the newspaper story about him) so that those of you who are interested can get in touch with him. And as soon as gets a working email, I will circulate that as well.

My Good Friends,
Because of back surgery I am unable to attend your reunion - Thanks for inviting me - Had I been able, I surely would have come . . . There's so much I want to hear from each of you.
Hilary and I live in Maryland and have two boys, Alexander (10) and Andrew (7). Son Tom (27) is a psyche nurse in Harrison NY and is my hero.
Please assemble a list of mailing addresses, phone numbers and emails for me. Unfortunately, my email has died, but I will get out my new address soon.
Please, if you are ever in the area, call and come and visit. We are in Freerick which is less than an hour from Baltimore, Wash DC and Harrisburg PA.
I've included a rather tacky news article on my days at the Frederick Police Department for the last 7 years.
Although I've never attended a single Brunswick alumni function, this one I was very much looking forward to enjoying.
My best to each of you,
Bill Douwes

Stay tuned for many more photos and updates.
